US debt clock runs out of digits
Well it seems that $700 Billion bailout (err .. excuse me ... as Mr. McCain would say "rescue") broke something else .... The National Debt Clock in Manhattan "rolled over" .... the National Debt now exceeds $9,999,999,999,999 .... or $10 Trillion. The owners of the clock have had to improvise and tack on a number one. They will be making a more permanent modification soon .... adding TWO more digits positions .. upgrading the capacity to just shy of $1 quadrillion.
